STEBI Global Mulia Holds the 2025 Work Meeting and Rihlah

Cikarang, September 15, 2025 – The Islamic Economics and Business College (STEBI) Global Mulia Cikarang successfully held the 2025 Faculty Work Meeting and Rihlah on Saturday–Sunday, September 13–14, 2025. The event, conducted outside the campus, was attended by all permanent and non-permanent lecturers, leaders, and management staff of STEBI Global Mulia. In addition to being an official forum for academic coordination, the activity also served as a platform to strengthen kinship, togetherness, and solidarity among the academic community.

The program began with the participants’ departure from the STEBI Global Mulia campus to the venue at Villa Refa Cihanjawar, Purwakarta, on Saturday morning. Upon arrival, the activities commenced with an opening ceremony, a recitation of the Holy Qur’an, and a collective Intifadah exercise. The enthusiastic atmosphere marked the start of a series of activities that were both intensive and meaningful.

In his remarks, Dr. Yoyo Hambali, M.A., Chairman of STEBI Global Mulia, emphasized the importance of the faculty work meeting as a forum to unify visions and strategies toward becoming an excellent institution. “This work meeting is a crucial momentum for all of us to conduct evaluations, design innovations, and strengthen synergy. STEBI Global Mulia must be able to prove itself as a campus that not only produces graduates but also generates research, ideas, and innovations that benefit the ummah and the nation,” he stated.

Following the opening, the agenda continued with an evaluation of the 2024/2025 even semester lectures and the presentation of plans for the 2025/2026 odd semester by Vice Chairman I for Academic and Student Affairs, Anggi Setya Prayoga, S.Kom., M.M. This session discussed the results of lecturer and student evaluations, including feedback that would serve as the foundation for future improvements.

The program proceeded with a workshop on preparing lesson plans (RPS) and teaching modules, guided by Dr. Yoyo Hambali, Anggi Setya Prayoga, and Bachtiar Arif, S.P., M.M. The lecturers worked on developing learning designs that are more innovative, digitally adaptive, and aligned with Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

In addition, the agenda also included the Dissemination of PKDP 2025, which provided in-depth understanding of policies and the direction of higher education development. In this session, several STEBI Global Mulia lecturers who had participated in the Lecturer Competency Development Program (PKDP) shared their insights and experiences.

  • Zamroni, S.T., M.M. presented Policies for Improving the Competence of New Lecturers, emphasizing the importance of developing the capacity of new faculty members to adapt to academic dynamics and higher education quality standards.
  • Fitri Astuti, S.E.I., M.E.K. delivered material on Pedagogical Learning, discussing innovative teaching strategies, student-centered learning approaches, and the use of technology in teaching and learning.
  • Moh. Gufron Romadhoni, S.Pd., M.M. provided a session on Religious Moderation, stressing that Islamic higher education institutions play an essential role in fostering moderate, tolerant, and inclusive attitudes within society.
  • M. Zaini El Wahyu, M.Pd. elaborated on Scientific Writing, focusing on techniques for writing academic articles, publishing in reputable journals, and upholding academic ethics in research.
  • Febrima A’yuningrum, M.Pd. concluded the session with material on The Paradigm of Scientific Integration in Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI), explaining how Islamic universities should integrate religious and general sciences to address contemporary challenges.

Through the Dissemination of PKDP 2025, STEBI Global Mulia lecturers are expected to be better prepared to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education with improved quality and to contribute to sustainable institutional development.

As part of the event, a Morning Reflection Session was also delivered by Dr. H. Royani, S.Th.I., M.A. This served as a moment of spiritual refreshment for all participants, adding depth and meaning to the work meeting and rihlah.

In the evening, the atmosphere grew warmer with a fellowship night, barbeque, and sharing session. All participants enjoyed the familial spirit, strengthening emotional bonds among lecturers, and cultivating a stronger spirit of collaboration.

The following morning, the activities continued with morning exercise and fun games designed to train teamwork, problem-solving, and physical refreshment.

According to Nurajizah, S.Sos.I., M.S.I., Chairperson of the Committee, the success of this event was the result of teamwork. “We are grateful that the event went smoothly, from the academic sessions to the rihlah activities. May this spirit of togetherness become new energy to enhance the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education at STEBI Global Mulia,” she said.

With the successful implementation of the 2025 Faculty Work Meeting and Rihlah, STEBI Global Mulia is optimistic about welcoming the 2025/2026 Academic Year with renewed enthusiasm, more focused strategies, and a strong commitment to providing higher education that is excellent, Islamic, and globally competitive.
