Purwakarta, September 13–14, 2025 – Sekolah Tinggi Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam (STEBI) Global Mulia Cikarang carried out a Community Service Program (PKM) in Cihanjawar Village, Purwakarta, under the theme “Education and Implementation of Islamic Financial Management for Families and Local Entrepreneurs.”
The program was attended by STEBI Global Mulia lecturers and involved local residents, especially families and small business owners. Through this initiative, the institution aimed to provide practical knowledge on Islamic-based financial management that can be applied both in daily life and business activities.
The Chairman of STEBI Global Mulia, Dr. Yoyo Hambali, M.A., emphasized that this program reflects the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly community service. “We want to be closer to the community, not only through education on campus but also by making real contributions to improve welfare. Educating families and entrepreneurs on Islamic financial management is crucial for building independence and competitiveness,” he said.
The people of Cihanjawar Village warmly welcomed the program. Through training sessions, discussions, and simple simulations, participants were introduced to the basics of Islamic finance, strategies for family financial planning, and ways to manage business capital in line with sharia principles.
This program also served as a platform for STEBI Global Mulia lecturers to connect academic theory with social reality. Participants are expected to apply the knowledge gained to strengthen their household financial foundation and develop healthier, more transparent, and sharia-compliant businesses.
By successfully holding this activity, STEBI Global Mulia reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Islamic financial literacy in society while supporting the growth of globally competitive small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
